Car showroom - Sunningdale

KBA are very excited to be working closely with the SuperVettura team to design and deliver their new and upcoming hypercar and supercar showroom in the heart of Sunningdale. SuperVettura are the longest standing official dealer for the Swedish hypercar manufacturer Koenigsegg. They also showcase and sell a number of other hypercar and supercar brands such as Bugatti, Pagani, Ferrari; Aston Martin; McLaren; Porsche; Bentley; Mercedes and Lamborghini.  

The new two storey, modern car showroom has been designed following extensive research and analysis into how users and visitors engage with automobiles today, and how technology has evolved to enhance user experience in the car sales industry. The showroom has been designed to showcase the cars but also focus on the process and experience when clients purchase the cars. 

We have carefully deployed a minimalist, neutral and sustainable material palette to offer a ‘museum’ like concept to display and showcase the cars. The cars are the star and the central focus within the space as ‘museum pieces’, showcased and presented as a technological masterpiece of car design. We have also exchanged the conventional elements and processes such as a typically redundant reception desk with a rotating car lift to greet and attract visitors on arrival into this exclusive space, by celebrating the technology that is replicated in the architecture of this space as well as the cars housed within. The upper storey of the showroom will house a ‘Koenigsegg Experience Centre’ showcasing the Koenigsegg model range, both current and historic. 

We are excited for the construction phase of this project to commence in spring 2023. This unique and dynamic hypercar showroom is set to open its doors to the public in 2024. KBA have been appointed as client Architect to monitor and oversee the project while also supporting the construction team during construction phase via our novated technical team.
